1. INTRODUCTION
The specifications are given for the desktop game version; for additional information on button layout and features of the mobile version, see section 4.2 Mobile Interface.
It is a single-player arcade machine in which, through the amount of the game, you have a time of use and enjoyment, and also occasionally, cash prizes.
The default cost per game is €0.20. Bets are configurable by the operator (who can disable betting if desired). Possible bets are €0.20, €1, €5, €10, and €20.
The game consists of two parts: the lower game is the main game, and the upper game is the secondary game. To play both games, you need a balance, and additionally, for the upper game, you need Bonuses, which can be obtained in the main game, the Bonus game, and also in the upper game, as we will see later.
The image above shows the game screen layout, with the pushbuttons at the bottom of the screen, current time indicator, AUTO-PLAY and AUTO-RISK buttons, the main game reels with the payline marked in red in the center position, payout plan, nudge indicator, PRIZE value indicator, BONUSES, BALANCE and the MESSAGE/RISK PLAY marquee.
2. LOWER GAME
This is the machine's basic game, which is played on three reels with 16 symbols each, with a prize on the center line, nudges, and holds. Players can play whenever they wish and have sufficient funds by pressing PLAY.
This machine allows you to select your bet using the BET button located at the bottom of the screen or by tapping the icons for each bet. The possible bets (depending on the operator's settings) are: €0.20, €1, €5, €10, €20.
To begin the game, you must have sufficient funds to cover your selected bet and press the PLAY button. As mentioned previously, the main (lower) game takes place on the machine's lower reels, spinning them all and stopping on one of the many possible combinations. At the end of the game, the machine will indicate to the player whether they have won a prize.
When selecting a bet, the possible prizes will be highlighted on the screen, lighting up according to the player's choice.
2.1. Auto Play
The player has a mechanism to automatically start a game called AUTOPLAY, the purpose of which is simply to start a new game as soon as the previous one has finished. Clicking on AUTOPLAY will open a menu where you can select the number of games you want to play automatically (up to a maximum of 100).
With the indicator light in green (ACTIVATED) once the game is finished, a new game will begin with the current bet as long as the player has enough balance to cover it.
The AUTO-PLAY button can be combined with the AUTO-RISK button, which is explained in section 2.8.1.
The player always has the option to disable auto-play mode by pressing the AUTO-PLAY button or by pressing PLAY.
2.2. Wildcard
Both the left and right reels feature a wild symbol that combines with any other symbol to win a prize for the player. For example, if two lemon symbols appear on two of the three reels and a wild symbol appears on the third reel, the player will win the lemon prize. Similarly, two wild symbols can win a prize when combined with any other symbol.
The wild symbol substitutes for any other symbol on the reel as long as it forms a winning combination with the other two, except if a Bonus symbol appears, in which case it will always combine with that Bonus symbol. The wild symbol can be used in combination with another symbol to hold two reels and play a game with these two reels locked, spinning the third reel for a possible prize.
2.3. Types of print runs
In the lower game, the following types of rolls can occur:
2.3.1. Direct Award
When any combination of the numbers described in the paytable lands on the center payline, the player wins an instant prize, either cash or bonuses. The machine indicates the prize amount to the player via the indicator (located at the top) designed for this purpose, as well as a flashing of all the lights accompanied by special prize music.
2.3.2. Retention
If, as a result of the game, the player obtains two identical figures on 2 of the 3 reels on the center line, the game program may randomly allow, without changing the bet, that the next game has two of the three reels with the same figure held and that, therefore, the only one that spins is the third reel (this next game does not involve any additional cost).
The game program can automatically hold both reels with matching symbols. If the player does not want this option, or prefers to hold only one reel or none at all, they can use the ADVANCE/HOLD buttons located below the reels to unlock or lock any reel (up to two), thus enabling or disabling its spin in the next game. Similarly, even with all three reels unlocked, the bet for the next game cannot be changed.
After a game played with two or one reel held, the Advances option may be activated, explained in the next point.
2.3.3. Progress
If the player does not win a prize, but the machine detects that a few more spins of any reel could have resulted in a prize or the possibility of holding two reels due to matching symbols, the Nuzzle feature may be randomly activated. Similarly, if a Bonus prize is won and the machine detects that a cash prize could be won with a few more spins, the Nuzzle feature may also be activated. The machine offers a maximum of four Nuzzles, indicated both audibly and visually by lights on the screen. Each Nuzzle corresponds to a positional spin of the selected reel, resulting in the next higher symbol on the payline.
The player will use the ADVANCE/HOLD buttons to move the reel as they see fit. There is also the option to activate AUTO-ADVANCE using the “AUTO” button, which will automatically spin the reels, always resulting in the best possible outcome for the player. If the button is solid, AUTO-ADVANCE is activated; if it is flashing, AUTO-ADVANCE is not.
The Nuzzle feature doesn't always result in a win on the center line; it can also result in two matching reels being held for a second spin with more possibilities. The game program, upon detecting that after Nuzzles (either manually or by activating Auto Nuzzle) the player has landed two matching symbols on two of the three reels, will automatically hold those reels in some cases. It's also possible to activate Nuzzles without winning any prizes.
2.3.4. Nothing
After their turn, the player does not obtain any winning combination or any other option for advancement or retention. The game is over.
2.4. Vertical lines
Certain reel symbols are associated with a vertical lines symbol (see image below). If this symbol appears on any reel, it will increase the vertical lines counter (up to a maximum of
9)
Vertical lines will be used in the top game. If vertical lines are used in the top game, the number of winning lines will increase from 5 to 8.
Each roll of the upper game will decrease the counter by one.
As you will see in the game above, there is a figure that can also increase this counter.
2.5. The Sacks Minigame
The lower game on the machine features a special prize with the "Carromato" symbol. If the player lands this combination on the center line, they will access the Sacks minigame.
Five bags of gold will appear, each lighting up randomly, with only one illuminated at a time. The player can pause the game by pressing the PLAY button, stopping at only one of the bags. If the button is not pressed, the game will remain in this state until the player takes action. If the auto-play button is active, the game will automatically stop after a few seconds, displaying one illuminated bag. The final prize will be the one corresponding to the illuminated bag. All other prizes will be discarded.
The prize that can be obtained in the minigame is as follows, depending on the bet :
0.20€ (0.20€-100€) / 1€ (2€-1000€) / 5€ (10€-5000€) / 10€ (20€-10000€) / 20€ (20€-20000€)
The bonuses that can be obtained in the minigame are as follows, depending on the bet :
€0.20 (1-6 Vouchers) / €1 (5-30 Vouchers) / €5 (25-150 Vouchers) / €10 (50-300 Vouchers) / €20 (50-300 Vouchers)
2.6. Bond-Ups
1 Voucher ≈ €0.80 (The remaining amount is rounded randomly).
If one of these prizes is won, the machine will offer the player the option to gamble it in a Bonus-Raise game, represented by flashing lights on the lower payout scale. In this game, the player can choose to collect the prize (by pressing the COLLECT button) or gamble it (by pressing the PLAY/ACCUMULATE button on the panel). If the player presses COLLECT, the prize will be added to their balance. If the player presses PLAY/ACCUMULATE, the machine may award either the next highest prize on the payout scale or a Bonus amount, which will be displayed in the upper left corner of the screen under the text "Message/Game of Risk."
If the player exceeds the prize threshold for the 3 Bells symbols, the game becomes a seesaw game, offering the player the option of either the next higher or the next lower prize in the payout structure. If the player wins the next lower prize again, the game reverts to the seesaw bonus mode. If the direct prize exceeds the 3 Bells, it will be paid out automatically.
If the player wins the prizes highlighted in yellow, the machine will offer them the option to gamble it in a "Raise-Nothing" game, represented by flashing lights on the lower paytable. In this game, the player can choose to collect their winnings (by pressing the COLLECT button on the lower panel) or gamble them (by pressing the PLAY/ACCUMULATE button on the panel). If the player presses COLLECT, the winnings will be added to their balance. If the player presses PLAY/ACCUMULATE, the machine may award the next highest prize on the paytable, or a win of NOTHING, which will be displayed in the upper left corner of the screen under the text "Message/Gamble Game".
The game will end when the player obtains one of the following options:
- COLLECT : If the player decides to collect the prize, the game ends.
- BONUSES : If the player obtains Bonuses as a prize for the game, the prize will automatically be converted into an equivalent amount of Bonuses and the game will end.
- MAXIMUM PRIZE : If the player wins the maximum prize after climbing the payout ladder to the maximum, the prize will be automatically awarded and the game will end.
- NOTHING : After their roll, the player does not obtain any winning combination or any other option for advancement or retention. The game is over.
2.6.1. Self-Risk
The player has the option to activate AUTO-RISK using the indicator light at the bottom of the screen. With the button activated (GREEN LIGHT), all prizes submitted to the Up-Bonus or Up-Down game will automatically be risked in the Up-Bonus game until it ends.
2.7. Bonds
Bonuses earned in the lower game can only be used in the upper game. Here's how to get Bonuses:
- By winning on the center line, either by getting one Bonus figure, two or all three on the center line.
- Risking prizes in the Sube-Bonos game.
- Through a direct prize in the minigame The Sacks.
- Through the Bonus game.
2.11. Bonus Game
To make it easier for players to claim bonuses, some bets include access to the Bonus Game directly from the base game. The Bonus Game button will be highlighted.
This game consists of 4 reels with a central payline, where the first three reels can award Bonuses or nothing. If Bonuses are awarded on the first 3 reels, the fourth reel can multiply the Bonuses won.
3. TOP GAME
The upper game is played on the three reels located at the top. To access this game, press the CHANGE GAME button. An animation will then switch to a new screen where the upper game is played. In this game, you play on all three reels, each with 16 symbols, but you win on 5 or 8 paylines if the vertical line counter is greater than zero.
This game allows you to place various bets depending on the player's choice and the operator's settings, provided you have sufficient funds and bonuses to maintain the bet. The possible bets are:
- €20 + 1 Bonus , which implies a starting price of €0.20 plus 1 additional Bonus.
- 1 € + 5 Bonuses , which implies a starting price of 1 € plus 5 additional Bonuses.
- €5 + 25 Bonuses , which implies a starting price of €5 plus 25 additional Bonuses.
- €10 + 50 Vouchers , which implies a starting price of €10 plus 50 additional Vouchers.
- €20 + 100 Vouchers , which implies a starting price of €20 plus 100 additional Vouchers.
- €20 + 200 Vouchers , which implies a starting price of €20 plus 200 additional Vouchers.
3.2. Auto Play
As in the previous game, the player has a mechanism to automatically start a game called AUTO-PLAY. Its purpose is simply to start a new game as soon as the previous one has finished. Clicking on AUTO-PLAY will open a menu where you can select the number of games you want to play automatically (up to a maximum of 100).
With the indicator light in green (ACTIVATED) once the game is finished, a new game will begin with the current bet provided that the player has sufficient balance and Bonuses to cover it.
The AUTO-PLAY button can be combined with the AUTO-RISK button, which is explained in section 3.13.1.
The player always has the option to disable auto-play mode by pressing the AUTO-PLAY button or by pressing PLAY.
3.3. Types of print runs
The possible combinations for the top game are:
3.3.1. Direct Award
The player wins any winning combination on the paytable on any of the 5 fixed paylines or 8 paylines (if the machine has vertical paylines). The prize won, or the sum of prizes won on more than one payline, is added to the payout counter at the top of the screen. An animation and flashing lights indicate to the player which payline or paylines have been won and the amount of the prize.
3.3.2. Nothing
The player does not obtain any winning combination on any of the 5 or 8 lines that make up the upper game. The game is over.
3.4. Obtaining Minigames
The top game features six minigames:
- Wanted
- Carts
- Fortune multiplier
- Desert Dice
- The Sacks
- Cart on conveyor belt
Access to the minigames can be obtained in two ways:
3.4.1. Cumulative
The Horseshoe symbol may appear randomly on reel 2 and increase the Minigame Draw counter by 1, 2, or 3 positions.
When the player collects 10 Horseshoe figures, a draw takes place among the minigames, granting access to one of them.
The minigame draw is separate from the bet. Each bet has a specific color and a defined jackpot for the minigame draw.
3.4.2. Thematic Awards
Sometimes, after obtaining a combination of figures, you may gain access to a minigame according to the following table:
|
Figure access |
Minigame |
|
3 figures Pistols in prize line |
Wanted |
|
3 figures Cart in prize line |
Carts |
|
3 Figures Bottle in Prize Line |
Fortune multiplier |
Each minigame will be described below.
3.5. Wanted Minigame
To access this minigame, you must first obtain three Pistol symbols on any of the paylines in the main game. The game may randomly grant access to this minigame, which replaces the main prize and gives the player the chance to win another prize of equal or greater value.
This minigame can also be accessed randomly if the Minigame Draw has been completed.
The game displays a ladder with several rungs. Depending on the bet, a different number of prizes will appear: 14 prizes (€0.20), 19 prizes (€1 and €5), 18 prizes (€10), or 17 prizes (€20 + 100 bonus points and €20 + 200 bonus points). The prizes displayed range from the minimum prize for a x2 bet to the maximum prize for the current bet. The word "FIN" appears on the rung before the first prize. The objective of the game is to climb the prize ladder by pressing the Play button (the game always starts from the rung with the lowest prize). Each time the Play button is pressed, you can move up a rung or reach "FIN." The game ends when you reach "FIN" or when you win the final prize. If you reach "FIN," the prize awarded to the player will be the one corresponding to the rung they have reached. If the button is not pressed, the game will remain in this state until the player takes action. If the auto-play button is active, the game will automatically advance to higher levels after a few seconds.
The prize that can be obtained in this minigame is as follows, depending on the bet:
- €0.20 + 1 Bonus (>€4-€100)
- €1 + 5 Vouchers (>€10-€1000)
- €5 + 25 Vouchers (>€50-€5000)
- €10 + 50 Vouchers (>€50-€10000)
- €20 + 100 Vouchers (>€200-€20000)
- €20 + 200 Vouchers (>€200-€20000)
3.6. Carts Minigame
To access this minigame, you must first obtain three Cart symbols on any of the paylines in the main game. The game may randomly grant access to this minigame, which replaces the main prize and gives the player the chance to win another prize of equal or greater value.
This minigame can also be accessed randomly if the Minigame Draw has been completed.
The game displays several illuminated prize reels simultaneously. Depending on the bet, 3 (€0.20), 4 (€1), 5 (€5), 6 (€10), 7 (€20 + 100 bonus), or 8 (€20 + 200 bonus) reels will light up at once. The reels will illuminate and then turn off sequentially until the end of the track or until the player presses the PLAY button. At that point, the game will stop, and the player will receive the prize equal to the sum of all the values on the currently illuminated reels. If the player does not take any action, the game will end (in both manual and AUTO modes) when the last reel lights up. Occasionally, this minigame will also award a bonus prize, which will supplement a less advantageous selection. The sum of the prize plus bonuses (the bonus value will be €0.80) will be the maximum prize for each bet. This will be added to the prize the player has won.
The prize that can be obtained in this minigame is as follows, depending on the bet:
- €0.20 + 1 Bonus (>€4-€100)
- €1 + 5 Vouchers (>€10-€1000)
- €5 + 25 Vouchers (>€50-€5000)
- €10 + 50 Vouchers (>€50-€10000)
- €20 + 100 Vouchers (>€200-€20000)
- €20 + 200 Vouchers (>€200-€20000)
3.7. Fortune Multiplier Minigame
To access this minigame, you must first obtain three Bottle symbols on any of the paylines in the main game. The game may randomly grant access to this minigame, which replaces the main prize and gives the player the chance to win another prize of equal or greater value.
This minigame can also be accessed randomly if the Minigame Draw has been completed.
The game features a roulette wheel with 20 slots, each with an assigned multiplier. Depending on the bet, the multipliers can range from x2-x25 (€0.20), x2-x100 (€1, €5, €20 + 100 bonuses, and €20 + 200 bonuses), or x2-x200 (€10). The player presses the Play button to spin the arrow in the center of the roulette wheel. The arrow will stop pointing to one of the slots. The final prize is calculated by multiplying the value of the prize for the Pistols, Cart, or Bottle symbols for that bet by the multiplier shown in the slot indicated by the arrow. If the button is not pressed, the game will remain in this state until the player takes action. If the auto-play button is active, the game will automatically spin the arrow after a few seconds.
The prize that can be obtained in this minigame is as follows, depending on the bet:
- €0.20 + 1 Bonus (>€4-€100)
- €1 + 5 Vouchers (>€10-€1000)
- €5 + 25 Vouchers (>€50-€5000)
- €10 + 50 Vouchers (>€50-€10000)
- €20 + 100 Vouchers (>€200-€20000)
- €20 + 200 Vouchers (>€200-€20000)
3.8. Desert Dice
The game features a game board. The player can roll two dice, numbered 1 through 6, by pressing the Play button. The numbers rolled are added together. This sum may be randomly multiplied by a multiplier (from 2 to 150 for all bets). The final prize is the result of this multiplier (if there is no multiplier, the final prize is the sum of the dice). If the button is not pressed, the game will remain in the same state until the player takes action. If the Autoplay button is active, the game will automatically roll the dice after a few seconds.
The range of prizes that can be obtained is from 2 to 1700 Bonuses on all bets.
3.9. The Sacks
This minigame works the same way as the minigame in the game below. The only difference is that in this case, all possible prizes will be in euros.
The prize that can be obtained in this minigame is as follows, depending on the bet:
- €0.20 + 1 Bonus (>€4-€100)
- €1 + 5 Vouchers (>€10-€1000)
- €5 + 25 Vouchers (>€50-€5000)
- €10 + 50 Vouchers (>€50-€10000)
- €20 + 100 Vouchers (>€200-€20000)
- €20 + 200 Vouchers (>€200-€20000)
3.10. Conveyor belt cart
It's a board game. The player starts on the START space. By pressing the PLAY button, they spin a wheel and can advance 1 to 6 spaces on the board. They advance the number of spaces indicated by the wheel.
Depending on the square the player lands on, they can obtain:
- Prize in €
- Bonds
- Access to a minigame (excluding the Carts and Cart on the Band minigames) that may give you a prize in € or Bonuses (in the case of the Desert Dice minigame)
- Start (does not award any prize but you can continue playing the minigame)
- The game will end when the player lands on the START square.
The final prize will be the sum of all the prizes obtained in the different squares where the player has landed.
The prize that can be obtained in this minigame is as follows, depending on the bet:
- €0.20 + 1 Bonus (>€4-€100)
- €1 + 5 Vouchers (>€10-€1000)
- €5 + 25 Vouchers (>€50-€5000)
- €10 + 50 Vouchers (>€50-€10000)
- €20 + 100 Vouchers (>€200-€20000)
- €20 + 200 Vouchers (>€200-€20000)
In this minigame you can obtain a range of Bonuses (1-1700) regardless of the cash prize.
3.11. Top vertical lines
In the top game we have a vertical line counter:
This counter is shared with the lower game.
In the top game, each time the vertical lines symbol appears, the counter will increase between 1 and 5 (up to a maximum of 9).
When a game is launched in a higher game (regardless of the bet) this counter will decrease by one unit and the player will be eligible for 8 paylines (5 fixed paylines + 3 vertical lines).
3.12. Double or Bonds
Prizes won in the main game will be subject to the Double-Bonus feature (except for prizes won in the Cart on a Belt minigame). This applies regardless of whether the prize is won directly (any of the eight paylines) or as a result of the additional games in the main game.
In this game, the prize money is divided into fractions based on the bet amount, and the player can win double that fraction or an equivalent amount of bonuses. At any point during the game, the player can choose to stop and keep the current prize amount.
The fractions that will be used as a reference are:
- €4 → Bet of €0.20 + 1 Bonus
- €10 → Bet €1 + 5 Bonuses
- €50 → €5 Bet + 25 Bonuses
- €100 → Bet of €10 + 50 Bonuses
- €200 → Bet of €20 + 100 Bonuses
- €200 → Bet of €20 + €200 Bonus
For each fraction of the prize, the player can decide whether to risk the prize by pressing PLAY/ACCUMULATE and get double the fraction being played with or an equivalent amount of Bonuses, or if they prefer not to risk and collect the prize by pressing COLLECT, and accumulating the prize in the balance counter.
If the player does not want to risk any of the fractions of their prize and wants to collect the entire prize, by holding down the COLLECT button they will collect their entire prize instead of doing so in fractions.
If the player wins the maximum prize for the selected bet, the prize will be transferred directly to the balance counter, with no option to risk any portion of it. Similarly, if enough DOBLAs are won to reach the maximum prize for the selected bet, the game will end and the remaining prize will be collected.
There is also a limit on the number of Bonuses a player can accumulate, in this case 5000 Bonuses. If the player exceeds this amount of accumulated Bonuses, the Double Up or Bonuses feature will not be allowed.
3.12.1. Self-Risk
The player has the option to activate AUTO-RISK using the indicator at the bottom of the screen. With the button activated (GREEN INDICATOR), all prize fractions submitted to the Double-Bonus game will automatically be risked and will never be added directly to the balance counter, unless the player achieves enough consecutive DOUBLES to win the maximum prize of the bet, in which case the game will end and the remaining prize will be collected.
4. INTERFACE AND KEYBOARD
4.1. PC Interface
To make the game simpler and easier to use, the keyboard can be used to quickly access certain game functions. The game interface is the same for both the lower and upper game modes, although not all the functions on the button panel are used in both.
