Disco Bingo

1. INTRODUCTION

This is a "B3" type arcade machine for one player in which, through the total wagered by the user, a time of use and enjoyment is obtained, and also occasionally, cash prizes.

The amount wagered in each game is defined by the user through the calculation: denomination x bet x card.

1.1. Name

The denomination defines the credit-euro parity. Different denominations and currencies will be defined depending on the country.

1.2. Bet

The number of credits the player will invest in each game per card. Bets will be determined based on the country.

1.3. Cardboard

The user decides how many cards they want to play with in the next game. They can close as many cards as they want using the "X", but there must always be at least 1 open card.

The image above shows the layout of the game screen, with the buttons and counters at the bottom, the game cards, the drum, the JACKPOT counter and the winnings plan at the top.

2. BASIC GAME

This is the machine's basic game, which is played on four cards that are automatically marked as each ball is drawn from the drum. For this game, the number of balls in the drum and the number drawn are:

  • Balls in the drum: 60
  • Balls drawn: 30

Players can play whenever they wish and have sufficient credits by pressing PLAY. Each machine allows for a different denomination and bet amount; the cost of the game is calculated based on the denomination, the bet, and the number of open cards. For example, if the player has selected denomination 5, a bet of 10, and has 3 open cards, the cost of each game in € or Tokens will be:

3 x 10 x 5 = 150€/T

As you select each bet, the prizes in the payout plan will change according to the selection.

To begin the game, you must have enough credits to cover your selected bet and press PLAY. As mentioned previously, the basic game is played on cards, with balls being drawn from the drum at a user-configurable speed (see BALL SPEED) and numbers marked on the cards. Each time a number matches a prize defined in the payout plan, that prize is awarded, increasing the prize counter by its value and displaying the winnings in red.

Each card shows the amount wagered for having that card open, but when a prize is won, the indicator changes and shows the prize amount won with that card.

When a prize is awarded that contains another prize, the latter is discarded, and only the value of the first prize is won. For example, in the previous screenshot, we won a DOUBLE LINE prize worth 100, but then we won a SQUARE prize worth 500. Our final prize will be 500, since we won the 500 from the SQUARE , but we discarded the 1 LINE and DOUBLE LINE prizes contained within the SQUARE.

At the end of the game, the machine will indicate to the player, on the WON counter , the final prize won.

At the start of each game, the PLAY button changes to STOP , allowing the player to pause the balls and calmly observe the current state of the game. Once the balls have stopped falling, the button reads CONTINUE , and pressing it resumes the ball-throwing.

The player can change the numbers on the card by pressing on them. This will cause the card to display different numbers selected randomly.

2.1. Possible prizes

Looking at the screenshot above, you'll see colored lines on the cards. These lines help the player by showing the possible prizes they could win if a specific ball is drawn. The image indicates which figure they are eligible for, and a counter shows the prize amount. Note that each line is the color of the prize it represents, and the counter can be a different color. Counters of a different color indicate that if that ball is drawn, the player would win the highest prize available to them.

Additionally, for further assistance, the winning plan also marks the last position needed to win a specific prize using yellow squares.

2.2. Auto Play

The player has a mechanism to start the game automatically called AUTO, the purpose of which is simply to start a game whenever the previous one has finished.

Pressing the button will open a menu so we can select how many automatic games we want to play and whether we want to buy all the extra balls (see EXTRA BALLS).

Once the amount is selected, the menu will close and the AUTO button will display the number of times that, once the game is finished, a new one will start with the current bet, provided the player has enough credits to cover it.

2.3. Earnings Plan

Depending on the patterns formed on the cards, players will win prizes according to the payout plan. There are 14 patterns . Below is the payout plan for bet 1. All other bets multiply this amount.

2.4. Jackpot

Depending on the operator, the Jackpot may or may not be activated. If activated, it will behave as follows:

In the position occupied by the last ball that comes out we can observe an indicator that reads “JACKPOT”.

This means that if the player gets the BINGO symbol with this ball (or with the previous ones), they will win the JACKPOT prize . This prize is a progressive jackpot shared by all players and all games, which increases with contributions from each game played, so the more games played, the faster the Jackpot grows.

The prize you are eligible for depends on the bet and the denomination.

The value of the Jackpot prize that the player is eligible for is reflected in the Jackpot counter.

2.5. Extra Balls

Once all the balls have been drawn from the drum for this game, if the player has the possibility of winning a CROSS or higher, they will have the possibility of buying EXTRA BALLS .

The player can buy as many balls as they wish ( maximum 13 ). The cost of each ball is displayed in the center of the drum and will change based on the probability of winning and the potential payout.

Additionally, the AUTO and PLAY buttons become EXTRA NO and EXTRA YES respectively.

Occasionally a JOKER BALL, or WILD BALL, will appear; this ball allows the user to choose which number on the card they want to be drawn.

3. BONUS

Once the game is over (including the purchase of Extra Balls), if the player has landed on a symbol marked "BONUS" in the payout structure, they will have access to a BONUS . The player will have the option to increase the final prize of the game through exciting and varied "mini-games," which are separate from the main game and which we will call Bonuses. Each game has its own set of Bonuses and specific symbols that grant access to them. In this case, we have:

3.1. Accumulates

The player will press play and advance on a board.

If the player returns to the START square, they will be able to roll again.

By collecting three diamonds of one type you will get the prize indicated in the legend.

3.2. Prize Pyramid

Starting from the bottom row, the player will access a series of prizes by pressing the "PLAY" button.

If the player lands on a prize, they will receive that prize. If they land on an arrow, they will move up to another row of prizes (always higher than the row below). This continues until the player lands on a prize or reaches the top of the prize pyramid.

3.3. The 80s are back

There will be 6 elements; the player can discover them and obtain a prize or EXIT. If they obtain a prize, they can choose another element.

The game ends when all the elements are discovered or an element with the text EXIT is discovered.

The final prize is the sum of all the prizes discovered.

4. SUMMARY

Once you have finally won the prizes, purchased extra balls, and accessed the Bonuses, if you have accessed a Bonus and/or won a Jackpot during this game, a summary box will appear detailing the final prize won by the player. The box will show, in this order (if applicable):

  • Winnings in Game : The sum that has been obtained on the cards through the figures of the winning plan
  • Bonus Wins : The total earned from each Bonus separately. If you have accessed the same Bonus more than once, the result is multiplied by the number of accesses. For example, if you get three BLOCKS and 100 in the Bonus, the final prize for that Bonus will be 300 (100 x 3).
  • The Jackpot prize (if activated) is shown in Euros or Tokens and on the right in credits.
