Unfinished games

If your game round is interrupted, placed bets and all game information will be saved until you reopen the game. You can resume your incomplete round from the point of interruption. Unresolved and still undecided bets on incomplete games will be voided after 2 days. Malfunctions will void all payouts and games.

Information

Winning clusters are awarded for landing adjacent symbol combinations, as per the paytable information and game rules. Winning multiple clusters in a single game round will pool all wins. All wins from features (such as Free Spins), Bonus Rounds and/or Specials (if applicable) are also added to the winning clusters. All winning combinations are paid at the end of a game round. Free Spins features are played at the same bet as the game round that triggered the feature, unless otherwise stated. The bet cannot be changed during an ongoing game round. See game rules for more information. Winning combinations only pay when symbols are connected vertically or horizontally without any gaps. Winning combinations can start from any point on the grid. Only the highest win is paid for each winning symbol combination.

Rules of the game

Medusa's Madness is a cascading slot game played on a 5x5 grid. Symbols fall into the grid to form winning combinations. Wins are achieved by landing 4 or more symbols in a connected cluster where they touch horizontally and/or vertically. Winning symbols are removed and new symbols fall to fill the grid. The game continues cascading until no new winning combinations can be created.

Eye Marks can appear in random positions. Open an eye forming a win at the Eye Mark location. 2 SPECIAL WILDS will be added to the grid when no more wins are achieved.

Winning charges the Stone Gateway. After winning on 7 symbols, 2 SPECIAL WILDS are added to the grid. After winning on 14 symbols, 2 SPECIAL WILDS are added to the grid. If a win is achieved with a SPECIAL WILD, the PETRIFY Stone Gateway effect is triggered. After winning on 27 symbols, 2 SPECIAL WILDS are added to the grid. If a win is achieved with a SPECIAL WILD, the GAZE Stone Gateway effect is triggered. The game continues as normal after the effects. If a second (and/or third) charging effect is achieved before the first (and/or second) charging effect can be played, then only the last charging effect will be awarded.

PETRIFY removes a row or column of the winning SPECIAL WILD symbol. The removed symbols will further contribute to charging the Stone Gateway. If PETRIFY removes another SPECIAL WILD, the removal will also be initiated from that symbol.

GAZE chooses 1 regular symbol at random and removes all matching symbols from the grid.

The OTHER WORLD FREE ROUND is triggered after a win with 42 symbols. You are awarded 1 free round with 3 random Stone Gateway Effects. If the Stone Gateway is overloaded, an additional Stone Gateway Effect is added for every 3 additional winning symbols collected, up to a maximum of 7 Stone Gateway Effects.

During the OTHER WORLD FREE ROUND, a Stone Gateway effect will be activated when no more wins are achieved.

The effects of Stone Gateway are:

1. SPECIAL WILDS: 4 SPECIAL WILDS added to the grid.

2. PETRIFY: 4 SPECIAL WILDS are added to the grid. If a win is achieved with any SPECIAL WILD, the PETRIFY Stone Gateway effect is activated.

3. GAZE: 4 SPECIAL WILDS added to the grid. If a win is achieved with any SPECIAL WILD, the GAZE Stone Gateway effect is activated.

11 or 12 Eye Marks are visible in the OTHER WORLD FREE ROUND. An eye opens, forming a win at the eye location. If all eyes have been opened, the MEGA WILD Medusa's Head symbol is added to the grid and moves down with each cascade before disappearing. The cascades continue until no more wins are achieved.

The average player return percentage is: 94.52%. The RTP is achieved through participation.

Bets are selected using the bet buttons at the bottom of the game. Press the 'plus' and 'minus' buttons to change the bet level. To start the round, press 'START'. When symbols land, they will determine your prize according to the paytable.

Actions

  • Modify Bet - Press any of the five bet buttons to select a bet or use the 'plus' or 'minus' buttons to increase or decrease the bet by one level.
  • Payout Table - Sample payout table.
  • Auto Play - Click the AUTO PLAY button to activate/deactivate the Auto Play feature. In Auto Play mode a series of consecutive game rounds will automatically start using your current bet. Auto Play mode is automatically deactivated based on your settings or in case your balance is too low.
  • Start / Space Bar - Starts the game round with the currently selected bet. Click 'spin' to begin.
  • Automatically adjust bet - If your balance is too low to start a spin at the current bet level, the total bet is automatically reduced when you start a new spin. The reduced total bet selected will be the highest possible bet and will be lower than the bet size selected when the autospins were started. The bet will only be reduced and will not return to its original amount after any win that would allow you to continue at the initial bet size.
