Toro y Matador Turbo

Introduction and Objective

Toro and Matador Turbo is a Top Card game, a simple and fast card game of chance operated by a dealer. The main objective is to predict which hand (Toro or Matador) will receive the higher-value card; however, there are also other betting options explained in these rules.

Game results are generated using random number generator software with a graphical interface that simulates real-life gaming elements. Dealers are generated in real time using advanced video-generation technology.

How to Play

Card Rankings

Cards are ranked from lowest to highest, with the Ace being the lowest and the King being the highest, as follows:

Ace → 2 → 3 → 4 → 5 → 6 → 7 → 8 → 9 → 10 → Jack → Queen → King

Only the numerical value of each card is relevant to the main game. The suit of the card (Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts, or Spades) has no effect on the outcome of the main game.

Cards and Shuffling

The game is played using a shoe containing eight standard 52-card decks, which are shuffled together. A cut card is added to each shoe.

At the beginning of each new shoe, the dealer draws the first card face up. The dealer then discards a number of cards equal to the value of that first card (a process known as "burning cards"). Any card used during gameplay is placed in the discard tray and is not used again until the shoe is replaced.

Once the cut card appears and the current round is completed, the current shoe is replaced with a new one.

Game Procedure

Each round begins with the dealer dealing one face-up card to both Toro and Matador.

  • The first card is dealt to Toro.
  • The second card is dealt to Matador.
  • No additional cards are dealt.

The higher card wins the round. For example, Toro receiving a King defeats Matador receiving a Jack.

Main Bets

Before each round begins, you may place bets on the following main betting options:

  • Toro: If you believe this hand will receive the higher card.
  • Matador: If you believe this hand will receive the higher card.
  • Tie: If you believe both hands will receive cards of equal value.

If the round ends in a Tie (including a Suited Tie), Toro and Matador bets are returned to the player (Push).

You cannot bet on both Toro and Matador in the same round.

Tie and Suited Tie bets are independent bets and may be placed with or without a main bet on Toro or Matador.

Side Bets

In addition to the main bets, players may place the following side bets (subject to availability):

Suited Tie

Wins when both Toro and Matador receive cards of identical rank and suit.

Big

Wins when the corresponding hand (Toro or Matador) receives a card valued 8 or higher.

Small

Wins when the corresponding hand (Toro or Matador) receives a card valued 6 or lower.

Odd

Wins when the corresponding hand (Toro or Matador) receives one of the following cards:

Ace, 3, 5, 9, Jack, or King

Even

Wins when the corresponding hand (Toro or Matador) receives one of the following cards:

2, 4, 6, 8, 10, or Queen

Red

Wins when the corresponding hand (Toro or Matador) receives a red-suited card (Diamonds or Hearts).

Black

Wins when the corresponding hand (Toro or Matador) receives a black-suited card (Clubs or Spades).

Notes

  • Big, Small, Odd, Even, Black, and Red side bets lose if the corresponding hand (Toro or Matador) receives a 7.
  • Opposing side bets such as Big/Small, Odd/Even, and Black/Red may be disabled within the game.
  • Side bets are subject to game availability, and some side bets may require a main bet to be placed first.
  • Side bets are also subject to minimum and maximum bet limits and may be restricted to a percentage of the total main bet.

How to Place Bets

Placing a Bet

Bets must be placed before the cards are dealt and cannot be changed once accepted for the current round.

A betting timer indicates the amount of time available to place bets. Once the timer expires, betting closes.

Please note that the betting timer may vary depending on the particular game being played, but it will never be less than 3 seconds.

To participate in a round, you must have sufficient balance to cover your bets. Your current balance is displayed in the lower-left section of the footer.

Table Limits

The game is subject to table limits, and you must verify the permitted minimum and maximum betting amounts.

The lower-right section of the footer displays the minimum and maximum bet limits for main bets.

Bet limits for all other bet types are available in the Limits and Paytable section of the game menu.

Bet Selection

You can use the chip selector to choose the value of your active betting chip.

To place a bet, simply place your chip on the corresponding betting area within the game interface, such as:

  • Toro
  • Matador
  • Tie
  • Any available side bet

Each time a chip is placed, the bet amount increases by the value of the selected chip.

The bet field, located next to your balance in the footer, displays the total value of all bets placed in the current round.

Repeat Bets

Use the Repeat button to place the same bets made in the previous round.

This button is available only when no chips have been placed on any betting area.

Double Bets

Use the Double button to double all bets currently placed on the table.

This button is available only when at least one chip has been placed on a betting area.

Undo Bets

Use the Undo button to remove your most recently placed bet.

Repeated use of the button will undo multiple betting actions one at a time.

Recent Results and Winning Streaks

Recent Results

After each round, the result is recorded and displayed in the history panel.

This allows you to review the outcomes of the most recent rounds.

Results are added from the upper-left side, showing the sequence of Toro, Matador, and Tie outcomes.

The scoreboard visually highlights streaks, making it easier to identify when one side has won several consecutive rounds.

Winning Streaks

To provide a clearer view of current game trends, dedicated statistics are displayed for both betting sides.

The winning streak counter shows how many consecutive rounds each side has won.

  • The counter increases by 1 for each consecutive win.
  • If the opposite side wins, the losing side's counter resets to zero.
  • In the event of a Tie, winning streak counters remain unchanged.

Alongside the streak count, the display also shows the win percentage of Toro versus Matador.
