Blackjack Silver 2
Introduction and Objective
Blackjack Silver 2 is a Blackjack game, a classic card table game of chance operated by a dealer. The primary objective is to achieve a hand with a higher score than the dealer without exceeding 21; however, there are other wager types explained in these rules. The best possible hand is a Blackjack, which occurs when the values of the first two cards dealt to a hand total exactly 21. Each player competes against the dealer and not against the other players at the table.
Game results are generated using random number generator software with a graphical interface that simulates real-life gaming elements. Dealers are generated in real time using advanced video generation technology.
How to Play
Game Rules
- The game is operated by a dealer and up to five players may be seated at the same table.
- The game is played with six standard 52-card decks.
- The dealer always Stands on Soft 17.
- Initial cards of the same value may be Split.
- A hand may only be split once during a round.
- Double Down after a Split is allowed, except when splitting Aces.
- If a hand of Aces is split, only one additional card will be dealt to each new hand.
- Insurance is offered when the dealer's up-card is an Ace.
- The dealer checks for Blackjack only when the up-card is an Ace.
- Blackjack pays 3:2 and Insurance pays 2:1; see the paytables for other wager types.
- The game results in a Push when the player and dealer hands have the same total.
Card Values
The card values used in the game are as follows:
| Card | Value |
|---|---|
| Ace | 1 or 11 points, whichever is more favourable to the hand |
| 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 | Face Value |
| Jack, Queen, King | 10 points |
Only the numerical value of each card is relevant for the main game. The suit of the card (Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts or Spades) has no effect on the outcome of the main game.
Hard and Soft Hands
A Hard Hand is any hand without an Ace, or a hand where the Ace must be counted as 1 to avoid busting (e.g. 10-6-Ace is a Hard 17).
A Soft Hand is any hand containing an Ace that is counted as 11 (e.g. Ace-6 is a Soft 17).
Cards and Shuffling
The game is played with a shoe containing six shuffled fifty-two-card decks. A cut card is added to each shoe.
Any card used during the game is placed in a discard tray and is not reused until the shoe is replaced.
Once the cut card is drawn and the current round is completed, the current shoe is replaced with a new one.
Game Procedure
Once the betting period ends, the dealing cycle begins clockwise from the player seated to the dealer's left. Each participant first receives one face-up card, ending with the dealer. A second face-up card is then dealt to each player, while the dealer receives a second card face down, which serves as the hole card.
Blackjack
If your initial two cards total 21, you have a Blackjack.
Insurance
If the dealer's up-card is an Ace, you are given the opportunity to place a wager known as Insurance to protect yourself against the possibility that the dealer has Blackjack.
The Insurance wager amount is equal to half of your original main wager. The Insurance wager is settled independently of your main hand.
Once the decision timer for placing an Insurance wager expires, the dealer checks the value of the hole card to determine whether they have Blackjack.
- If the dealer has Blackjack, your Insurance wager wins, but your main hand loses and the round ends.
- If the dealer does not have Blackjack, the Insurance wager loses and the round continues normally.
Even Money
In the specific situation where you have a Blackjack and the dealer shows an Ace, the standard Insurance wager is replaced with the Even Money option.
This option allows you to accept a guaranteed 1:1 payout on your wager immediately, before the dealer reveals the hole card.
If you accept this option, you are paid immediately and the hand is removed from play.
If you decline this option, you remain eligible for the standard Blackjack payout but assume the risk of a Push should the dealer also reveal a Blackjack.
Hit and Stand
Provided the round has not ended because the dealer revealed a Blackjack with an Ace up-card, play proceeds to your turn.
You may choose Hit, which deals an additional card to your hand. You may continue hitting multiple times to improve your hand value.
When you are satisfied with the total value of your hand, or wish to stop receiving cards, you must Stand to lock your hand and end your turn.
Double Down
If your initial two-card hand appears promising, you may select Double Down.
This allows you to double your main wager in exchange for receiving exactly one final card.
This option is available only at the start of your turn before taking any Hit action.
Once that final card is dealt, your hand is automatically completed and your turn ends.
Split
When your initial two-card hand consists of two cards of identical value, you may choose to Split them into two separate hands.
This requires placing a second wager equal to your original wager.
A new second card is then dealt to each hand, and each hand is played independently.
For each split hand, you may improve your total by choosing Hit, or you may choose Double Down as the first action.
However, when splitting Aces, you receive exactly one additional card per Ace, and your turn ends immediately without the option to Hit or Double Down further.
Bust
If the total value of your hand exceeds 21, you Bust and lose your wager on that hand.
Result
Once all player decisions and hands are complete, the dealer reveals the hole card to complete the round.
The dealer follows the following strict drawing rules:
- Must Hit on any total of 16 or less.
- Must Stand on any total of 17 or higher, including Soft Hands.
You win the round if your final total is greater than the dealer's without exceeding 21, or if the dealer Busts while your hand remains valid.
If your total exactly matches the dealer's total, the outcome is a Push and your main wager is returned.
Please note that a true Blackjack is exclusive to the original two-card hand. A total of 21 achieved after a Split is treated as a regular 21, meaning a natural Blackjack always beats any other 21.
Side Bets
In addition to the main wager, the following side bets may be available:

- Three of a Kind – Same value, different suits.
- Straight – Numerical sequence with different suits.
- Flush – Non-sequential cards of the same suit.

See the paytables for further details.
Side bets are subject to in-game availability, and a main bet may need to be placed first. Side bets are also subject to minimum and maximum stake amounts.

Taking Seats
To join the game, you may select any available seat by clicking or tapping the corresponding seat icon.
You may occupy more than one seat at the table if you wish to play multiple hands simultaneously.
When you are ready to leave the game, simply press the “X” button located above your position to vacate the seat. Please note that if you remain seated without placing any wagers for several consecutive rounds, you will automatically lose your seat to make room for active players.
Placing Bets
Placing a Wager
To participate in a round, you must have sufficient balance to cover your wagers. Your current balance is displayed in the lower-left section of the footer.
Wagers must be placed before the cards are dealt and, once accepted, cannot be modified during the round. To place a wager, click or tap on the main betting area in the game interface.
Once you have placed a wager above the minimum limit on the main bet, you may place wagers on the available side bets.
A timer indicates the remaining time available to place your wager. Once the timer expires, wagering closes and no further wagers are accepted for that round. The timer appears as follows and changes colour during the countdown:
You may use the “Deal Now” button once you have finished placing your wagers for the round. When all players click this option, the game skips the remaining betting countdown and starts the round immediately.
Table Limits
The game is subject to table limits, and you should verify the permitted minimum and maximum wager amounts. The lower-right section of the footer displays the minimum and maximum limits for main wagers. Limits for all other wager types are available in the Paytable and Limits section of the game menu.
Bet Selection
You may use the chip selector to choose the value of your active chip for placing wagers. The chip selector and selected chip appear as follows:
To place a wager, simply place your chip on the corresponding betting area in the game interface; for example, on the main wager area or on a side bet. Each time you place a chip, the wager value increases by the selected chip value.
The wager field, located next to your balance in the footer, displays the total amount of all wagers placed in the current round.
Repeat Bets
Use the “Repeat” button to place the same wagers as in the previous round. This button is available only when no chips are placed on any betting area.
Double Bets
Use the “Double” button to double all wagers currently placed on the table. This button is available only when at least one chip is placed in at least one betting area.
Undo Bets
Use the “Undo” button to remove your most recently placed wager. Repeated use will reverse multiple wagering actions one at a time.
Decision Making
Decision
As explained in the How to Play section, after receiving your first two cards, you may choose your next move before the dealer officially reaches your turn.
A decision panel will appear on your screen displaying the available actions (e.g., Hit, Stand, Double Down, Split).
If you change your mind before your turn arrives, simply click or tap your current selection. This will reopen the panel and allow you to choose a different action.
Automatic Decisions
Auto Stand
If the timer expires before you make a decision, an automatic decision will be applied to keep the game moving.
By default, the game uses the following Auto Stand rules:
HIT: If your hand value is 11 or less.
STAND: If your hand value is 12 or more.
Custom Automatic Decision Preferences
You may customise your preferences in the game settings and streamline your gameplay by enabling automatic decisions.
When enabled, the game will automatically make certain decisions on your behalf at the beginning of your turn without waiting for manual input or timer expiration:
Always Decline Insurance
Automatically declines the Insurance wager when the dealer shows an Ace.
Always Decline Even Money
Automatically declines the Even Money option when you have Blackjack and the dealer shows an Ace.
Always Stand on Hard 17 or Higher
Automatically Stands when your hand totals a Hard 17 through 21.
Always Hit on Hard 8 or Lower
Automatically Hits when your hand totals a Hard 8 or less, except when you hold a pair.
